Inauguration of the ThyssenKrupp Quarter
After a construction period of three years the new corporate headquarters of ThyssenKrupp AG – the ThyssenKrupp Quarter – was officially inaugurated on June 17.

The new integrated steel mill being built by ThyssenKrupp in the state of Rio de Janeiro at a cost of €5.2 billion is the biggest industrial investment in Brazil in the past ten years and is also the first major steel mill to be built in the country since the mid-1980s.
